Lightweight Insulating Concrete Roof Deck
Lightweight insulating concrete roof decks can be applied over non-vented substrates including existing roof membranes, galvanized vented or non-vented steel deck, precast concrete, or cast in- place structural concrete. Lightweight concrete placed over metal deck can be used to enhance the shear diaphragm providing additional resistance to shear forces resulting from wind or seismic activity.
Metal Decks
Metal roof deck and metal form deck are the most typical types of metal deck installed by LCS. Metal deck is most commonly fastened to supporting steel members by welding or powder actuated pins. Side laps for metal deck are fastened with TEK screws.
Engineered Backfills
Engineered Fills are site mixed and pumped where required. We specialize in engineered backfill, pipe abandonment, pipeline grouting and slip-lined pipe applications as well as bridge approaches, roadway fills, weight reducing foundation mats, plaza deck projects and lightweight pervious concrete.
